Technical FAQ:
- Q: I tried to load the Arcsoft driver that came with my MiniCam Pro PC Camera (item #98067) on my Vista operating system and my CD/DVD drive has vanished.
A: If this occurs, please go to: http://www.jascoproducts.com/arcsoftupdate.asp download the patch. After downloading the patch, re-start your computer and this will restore your CD/DVD drive. (This only applies to cameras marked with Ver. 1 (item #98067) on the bottom of the base of the camera.) If your camera does not have Ver. 1, it is not Vista compatible. - Q: When I try to load the driver for GE PC Camera on my Vista operating system, it gives me the following message: Do you want to search for a driver?
A: If this occurs, answer “yes” to the search. (This is a security issue for Vista and applies to cameras marked with Ver. 1 or higher or Rev. 2 or higher on the bottom of the base of the camera.) If your camera does not have Ver. 1 or higher or Rev. 2 or higher, it is not Vista compatible. Possible cameras: 98063 (Rev. 2), 98067 (Ver. 1), 98656 (Rev. 3), 98756 (Ver. 1).
